For many, a private or personal chef seems a deep-pocket luxury. I feel for any busy individual, couple or family--a personal chef can become a necessary and important part of your life. While many (expensive) food conveniences such as restaurant take-out and a plethora of 'ready to go' meals offered by 'gourmet' super markets may be a quick fix, the yearning for a home-cooked meal prepared with love and truly wholesome ingredients is evergreen, timeless. Having a personal chef is not only a luxury but an affordable one.

My Story
Hi there and welcome to French Spaghetti! My name is Tina Marie and I am your garden variety food- obsessive. If I am not thinking about food, cooking food, eating food, shopping for food, talking about food, reading about food or writing about food, --- I am sleeping. ​In many ways, this is not an exaggeration. Food is my life. Not many things bring me such a fulsome joy as having people I love gathered 'round my dining table, eating, laughing and enjoying cocktails. ​A rustic loaf of bread and a good bottle of wine is often the humble beginning of great things to come. ​Beyond my world of food lovery, I am a New Englander, through and through. Much of my life spent on Cape Ann, Massachusetts and the North Shore of Boston. This is where my passion for cooking and entertaining took firm root. Rockport, specifically, is where it all began as my late husband was the proprietor of one of the town's most successful restaurants for over 30 years, The Portside Chowder House. Almost everything I know about the food business was learned by observing him and working alongside him as he entertained celebrities , tourists and townspeople alike. ​​​​​The pleasure of food and the atmosphere in which it is enjoyed, can be transcending and deeply soul soothing. ​As a personal chef, this is what I hope to bring my clients.
